🚨 Something happened in the medical world this week — and it should not be ignored 🚀
Researchers at Lund University in Sweden have developed an artificial intelligence model that can detect five brain diseases at the same time from a single blood test.
➡️ Alzheimer’s. Parkinson’s. ALS. Frontotemporal dementia. Stroke.
All from one syringe.
Why is this such a big deal?
Think about it: even in specialized clinics today, one in every three or four patients receives a misdiagnosis. In ordinary clinics, that number can exceed 50%. The reason is simple: the symptoms of these diseases overlap so much that even highly experienced doctors can make mistakes.
The model, called ProtAIDe-Dx, took a different approach.
It analyzed the blood proteins of more than 17,000 patients and identified a common protein “signature” linked to neurodegeneration. It learned that signature — and then used it to distinguish five different diseases at once from the same sample.
Accuracy? Between 70% and 95w
