A fine will be imposed for distributing photo, video, or audio materials created using artificial intelligence technologies without appropriate labeling.

According to Trend, this is reflected in the draft law on amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses, which was discussed today at a joint meeting held via videoconference by the Milli Majlis committees on Legal Policy and State Building and on Human Rights.

According to the draft law, knowingly distributing photo, video, or audio materials created using artificial intelligence technologies in the media, on internet information resources, or through information and telecommunication networks where they are publicly displayed, without clear and easily visible labeling indicating that such materials were produced using these technologies, will result in a fine ranging from 80 to 150 manats.

Here, “labeling” refers to markings automatically provided by the artificial intelligence technologies used to create the photo, video, or audio materials, as well as visual, audio, or text-based labels added to such materials.
